No, we no longer accept cash. Please note that balance must be paid electronically. Zelle highly recommended. CashApp also an option.
Squeeze in appointments are available each month on different days. Additional fee is $100 on top of service price. This option is not available for booking on site. Please contact shop directly via email, Jazmine@sagebraidbar.com, for booking. Please include your name, desired dates/times and style of choice. Thank you!
Please visit the menu drop down and view the “Hair Details” page. We do not provide hair but this page does list all of the hair you will need for your specific style.
Please always follow instructions on the site. Regardless if the date is available on the calendar for booking. For example, if the site says we are currently booking for December ONLY, do not book past the month of December. The site is always up to date and will let you know what month we are currently booking. Your deposit will be lost if you book past the stated month so please read carefully and follow instructions.
Sage Braid Bar is located at 1115 Front Street in Downtown Sacramento in the historic Old Sacramento district.
New clients along with anyone who has only been serviced here one time is required to send in photos of natural hair, including perimeter/edges, before scheduling an appointment for service.
Your appointment will be cancelled and deposit lost if you do not follow New Client instructions.
You must have a length of 4 inches all over, no exceptions. No extreme thinning or damage.
Please note for a consultation, you may email or text over photos of your natural hair including the perimeter for approval. You do not need approval to send over photos, just send them over either by text or email as stated above please.
Deposits are required to book & are Non-Refundable. Balance is due by electronic payments such as CashApp($SageBraidBar) or Zelle(Jazmine@SageBraidBar.com). Please note electronic payments are due 15 minutes prior to service ending.
Be sure to go over policy page and FAQ completely as I will not respond to a question that is already answered on this page.
Please be advised that we work both solo and with assistants. We maintain a very peaceful environment and work hard to get your appointment done efficiently with the highest quality.

Please arrive to appointment with a Mask. Clothing or scarfs(such as bandanas) are NOT permitted. You must wear an actual mask that covers your mouth and nose completely & mask be worn for the entire appointment. Be prepared to have your temperature taken at the door. Temperatures 100.4 or higher will result in an automatic reschedule.
If you are showing or having any signs of illness, please reschedule. If you come to appointment and I notice any signs of illness, the appointment will be cancelled, and you will have to re-book and pay additional deposit fee. I
Please note that if you have thinning/bald areas, I will not be able to provide you with service. Be sure to contact me for a consultation prior to booking and paying deposit. Knotless braids are NOT ideal for anyone with thinning edges.
Cancellation needs to be at least 48 hours prior to appointment as a courtesy.
Clients are allowed one rescheduling option using the original deposit and must reschedule at least 48 hours prior to appointment or you will not be able to reschedule. Requested appointment for reschedule must be in the same month you already booked for. For appointment in new month you must pay a new deposit. For example: If you’ve scheduled an appointment for March & need to reschedule for any reason, date must be for March. You can not reschedule for April.
No call, No show will result in potential client on “Banned Booking” List.
As a courtesy, please let me know if you’re going to be late. Dependent upon situation, client is allotted a grace period of 15 minutes but will be charged a $20 late fee after 15 minutes.
After 20 minutes, appointment will be automatically rescheduled or cancelled in order to accommodate the daily schedule.
Thick Hair/Larger Head
I no longer charge a Thick Hair/Larger head fee but please let me know ahead of time if you have thicker density hair.
Oftentimes I’m with a client and I like to give my undivided attention to the service.
Communication by text is best for a prompt response.
Deposits are Non Refundable. Please inquire about service or any questions you may have prior to paying deposit in order to make an informed decision regarding your appointment.
No refunds on service. Any concerns should be addressed prior to leaving appointment or within 24 hours. Stylist will decide how to accommodate client.
How to arrive to appointment
Arrive with a mask on. Please arrive with your hair freshly washed and comb dried straight. No product or oil applied. Leave in conditioner and oil will be applied by me along with styling product.
No extra guest is to accompany you.
If you are sick, please reschedule as a courtesy to myself and the business surroundings to prevent sickness from spreading.
Is hair included in price or provided by you? No, all hair details are listed on "Hair Details" page.
Is deposit deducted from total amount due?
Yes, balance due is total minus deposit. Be sure to have electronic payment, such as Zelle, set up prior to appointment.
Do you take breaks?
Most services that I do take at minimum 4-5 hours, I usually prefer to go straight through service but I now understand the importance of a break for health reasons. With that being said, I do take 15-20 minute breaks between services.
Do you provide refreshments?
Absolutely! I will always have a bottle of water and healthy snack options for my clients.
I see you are located in Downtown Old Sacramento, do I have to pay for parking?
Yes, paid parking is between the hours of 10am-4:30pm where I'm located, free on Sundays. The price is $1.75 per hour.
Do you have WIFI?
Yes, WIFI is available for client use.
Are kids or extra guest welcomed?
Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate extra guest. Please arrive alone.
