Shalom & welcome to the policy page. It is very important that you take out the time to fully review this page in order to be properly prepared for your appointment. Unfortunately, I will not respond to any inquiry that is already addressed within the website.
Hair length MUST be at least 4 inches all over for service. No exceptions.
The Balance is due in cash only. If you don’t bring cash for the balance, a $5 fee will be added to any form of electronic transactions.
Please do not DM me about your appointment. This includes questions about an existing appointment and/or cancellation. All inquiries need to be texted(916)581-1303 or emailed(Jazmine@Sagebraidbar.com) over.
How to arrive to appointment:
Please arrive with your hair freshly washed and comb dried straight. No product or oil applied. Leave in conditioner and oil will be applied by me along with styling product. No extra guest is to accompany you. If you are sick, please reschedule as a courtesy to myself and the business surroundings to prevent sickness from spreading.
Please arrive to appointment with a Mask. Clothing or scarfs(such as bandanas) are NOT permitted. You must wear an actual mask that covers your mouth and nose completely. Be prepared to have your temperature taken at the door. Temperatures 100.4 or higher will result in an automatic reschedule. I do not service children. Adults only. If you book an appointment for a child, be aware that the appointment is not valid and you have lost a deposit.
If you are showing or having any signs of illness, please reschedule. If you come to your appointment and I notice any signs of illness, the appointment will be cancelled and you will have to re-book and pay additional deposit fee. I am unable to tell the difference between allergies and sickness so for my personal comfort, please be sure to take a allergy pill for the allergies to lay dormant during appointment. Personal tip to cure allergies: Ginger, cayenne and lemon. You can find this at Pressed Juicery, a local juicing company.
Please note that if you have thinning/bald areas, I will not be able to provide you with service.
Cancellation needs to be at least 24 hours prior to appointment as a courtesy. If not done prior to 24 hours then you are not eligible for a reschedule.
There is one rescheduling option available where you are able to use the original deposit. If for any reason(including COVID related) you need to reschedule after initial reschedule, a new deposit must be paid & a new appointment must be booked. No call, No show will result in potential client on “Banned Booking” List.
As a courtesy, please let me know if you’re going to be late. Dependent upon situation, client is allotted a grace period of 20 minutes but will be charged a $20 late fee after 15 minutes. After 20 minutes, appointment will be automatically rescheduled or cancelled in order to accommodate the daily schedule.
Please only text/call business telephone during the hours of 9am-6pm Monday-Friday Closed: Sunday's & Saturday’s. Please allow up to 24 hours to respond but response time is usually within 6 hours. Oftentimes I’m with a client and I like to give my undivided attention to the service. Communication by text is usually best.
Deposits are Non Refundable. Please inquire about service or any questions you may have prior to paying deposit in order to make an informed decision regarding your appointment. No refunds on service. Any concerns should be addressed prior to leaving appointment or within 24 hours. Stylist will decide how to accommodate client.
Is hair included in price or provided by you?
No, all hair information is located on the page titled "Hair Details". Hair is not provided by me.
Is deposit deducted from total amount due?
Yes, balance due at appointment is total minus deposit.
Do you take breaks?
I usually prefer to go straight through service but I now understand the importance of a break for health reasons. With that being said, I do take 15-20 minute breaks during services.
Do you provide refreshments?
Absolutely! I will always have a bottle of water and healthy snack options for my clients.
I see you are located in Downtown Old Sacramento, do I have to pay for parking?
Yes, paid parking is between the hours of 10am-4:30pm where I'm located. The price is $1.75 per hour unless you park in a parking garage. Please be aware that parking can be hard to find so come atleast 10-15 minutes early to find parking. Peak busy hours are anytime after 11am in Old Sacamento.
Do you have WIFI? Yes, WIFI is available for client use.
Are kids or extra guest welcomed?
Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate extra guest. Please arrive with yourself only.
Do you service children?
No, the client must be 16 or older and able to attend the appointment without adult supervision as I am unable to accommodate extra guest.
